About Me

Thanks for taking a moment to browse my portfolio. 

My name is Matt Claiborne, and I have worked as a professional pilot, flight instructor, college professor, and professional full-time photographer. I am always looking for interesting and rewarding writing and photography projects. 

This page is where I share my writing, photography, and even some artwork. Traveling via sailboat, with a maximum speed of 7 mph, gives me plenty of time for projects. I spend most of my time in the summer on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, and the winters anywhere from North Carolina to The Bahamas.
